Minutes of SAC RM-01 (18/05/2022)

The 1st SAC RM meeting was convened on 15th May 2022, from 8:30 pm to 10:45 pm IST. The minutes are as follows:

  1. Announcements
    1. Introduction of SAC Constitution
    2. Roles and responsibilities of Councilors
    3. Publishing  of contact details of all the EC members and councillors
    4. Code of Procedure for submitting queries and grievances by the GSB
    5. Regarding the formation of Consultative, Finance and other sub-committees
  2. Reports of the Executives
    1. EC shall report on their current activities and plan of action for their tenure.
    2. Regarding the formation of respective Councils
  3. List of transactions ( *items which cannot be addressed in the stipulated time will be carried over to the next meeting)
    1. NITC Masterplan 2047
    2. Mini Canteen Guidelines
    3. Extension of First Year Curfew
    4. SAC Room Guidelines
    5. Library
      1. Extension of library timing to 9:00 PM as there are regular classes till 5:00
      2. Opening of Library during the weekends
    6. Spamming of Institute Mail
      1. Unnecessary Mails
      2. Trade of Items
      3. Lost and Found
  1. Dogs on Campus
  2. Network Issues in Hostels
  1. Any item not on the Agenda with the support of one-third of the floor strength of the SAC or at least 10% of the GSB. (if time permits)
