Agenda of SAC RM-01 (07/12/2021)

The 1st SAC meeting will be convened on 7th December 2021, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm IST. Any councilor who can't make it to the meeting “shall intimate the Speaker in writing, in advance”. (Ref: Chap III 5 E). The agenda will be as follows:

  1. Announcements
    1. Introduction of SAC Constitution
    2. Roles and responsibilities of Councilors
    3. Code of Procedure for submitting queries and grievances by the GSB
    4. Regarding the formation of Consultative, Finance and other sub-committees
  2. Reports of the Executives
    1. EC shall report on their current activities and plan of action for their tenure.
    2. Regarding formation of respective Councils
  3. List of transactions ( *items which cannot be addressed in the stipulated time will be carried over to the next meeting)
    1. Stipend
      1. Release of M19 Stipend
      2. Release of stipend within 1st few days of every month
    2. Campus Return,
      1. Discrepancies regarding campus return of Home Teams
      2. Return of Non-final year UG students
    3. Permission for B.Tech girls to use facilities on campus,
    4. SCI relaxation
  1. Orientation program,
    1. M21/M20 orientation program
    2. Career opportunities for BTech Students
  2. Anti-ragging initiatives,
  3. Campus Facilities,
    1. Extention of Study Hall  and make it also available on the weekend
    2. Providing more Waste-Bins across the campus
    3. Extention of Library timings and make it also available on the weekend
    4. Creative Zone Renovation (the planks are deteriorating )
    5. Introduction of better e-library facilities
  4. Club Activities,
    1. M21 inductions
    2. Weekly activities for students to keep them engaged
  5. HRA for students
  6. Online Counselling,
  7. Mentorship Program for B21 students
  8. Graduation Certificate Revision
  9. 24hr laboratory for PhD students
  1. Any item not on the Agenda with the support of one-third of the floor strength of the SAC or at least 10% of the GSB. (if time permits)
